ABOUT JIM NASH
State Representative House District 48A
My wife Kim and I love raising our family in Minnesota, and that is why I serve in St. Paul. To create a future of opportunity for them in this beautiful state.
We have six children and we are involved in just about everything you can think of: sports, music, gardening, hunting, fishing, church, community events are things we all enjoy as a family.
I was raised in a strong tradition of community service, so in 2008 I decided to run for City Council. After serving two years on the Council, I was elected Mayor in 2010 and again in 2012. I was elected to the House of Representatives in 2014 and am asking you to send me back.
I have a passion for good government and to make sure that the people I represent know I work for them! I listen to them, and I am accountable to them. I have worked to be a strong, tireless advocate for the residents of 47A in my role and have worked hard for my district and the state on important issues like transportation, taxes, transparency of government, and education.
I am a partner in a growing technology analyst firm and love showing my kids the value of hard work. As a small business owner, I recognize the needs and challenges of business and will bring those lessons to my work in St Paul.
I am very active in my church, am involved in international relief work, a year round volunteer for Operation Christmas Child, I am my kids biggest soccer fan, and I am an avid hunter and fisherman, amateur chef, and enjoy my time with my beautiful family.
I look forward to seeing you in the community, and to returning to St. Paul in January with your help.
