Waconia, MN - State Representative Jim Nash announces his campaign for re-election to the Minnesota House of Representatives in District. District 48A includes Waconia, Cologne, Mayer, Victoria, Chaska, Waconia Township, Laketown Township, and Benton Township in Carver County.
"It’s been my honor to serve the communities in my district in the House of Representatives," expressed Representative Nash. “These last two years have been incredibly hard on all of us as the DFL majority has placed the burden of their runaway tax-and-spend plan on the backs of the residents of Carver County and people around the state.”
“We need to take back the House of Representatives so we can bring balance back to St. Paul and respect the checkbooks of you and your neighbors. That is why I am seeking re-election and ask for your support this November.”
Rep. Jim Nash is seeking the Republican endorsement for district 48A for the 6th time. He currently serves as the Republican Whip, Lead on the State and Local Finance and Policy Committee, is a member of the Ways and Means, Housing and Rules Committees in St. Paul.
Jim and his wife, Kim, have six children, and have lived in Carver County since 2002. Active in the community, Rep. Nash has been recognized as a leader in Housing, IT issues, a champion for small business, and many other MN based industry awards.
